  • Fees for notary services are governed by California Government Code § 8211 (e.g., $15 per signature, $15 per certified copy).

  • Mobile notary services, travel fees, and additional charges (such as evening or holiday surcharges) are published on our website or quoted directly.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed appointments will be honored at the agreed rate.

Appointment Policy

  • All notary services are by appointment only.

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure mobile services.

  • Cancellations or reschedules must be made with at least 2 hours’ notice; otherwise, deposits may be forfeited.

  • JL Signature Services reserves the right to refuse or terminate appointments if valid identification is not presented, if documents are incomplete, or if the request violates California notary law.

Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide valid government-issued photo identification.

  • Documents must remain unsigned until the notarial act is performed.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure documents are prepared and complete.

Intellectual Property

  • All website content, including text, images, branding, and design, is the property of JL Signature Services and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

Limitation of Liability

  • JL Signature Services provides notarial services in compliance with California law but is not responsible for the legal validity or enforceability of documents beyond proper notarization.

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific notarial service provided.
